Weight loss:

Total weight loss as of today is 15 lbs. Weight loss has kinda slowed down but I think that was due to me eating nuts daily. I’ve stopped eating nuts and lost 2 lbs in the last 4 days.


Last week’s goals:

Goal for week two was to run 3 days and strength train 4. I did do the 3 day running but only did 2 days of strength training. Working 12 hr days are definitely interfering with me getting a good work out schedule going. I’ve got to figure out how to work out even when I work.


Next week’s goals:

Getting in 4 days of strength training plus running. Also getting started on a 30 day arm challenge.  Getting in more veggies.


Observations:

This week I’ve noticed the high amounts of energy I had in week 1 and 2 have gone down a little bit. But in my reading I’ve learned this is common. The first few weeks you feel this euphoria. I still have a ton more energy than I did before starting the banting diet. But it seems to be leveling out a bit. Swelling in legs has almost completely gone. I can sit at my desk without my feet swelling so much that I can barely get my shoes on. For the moment there’s not much new to write about. Weight loss had stalled a little but I think eliminating the nuts will hopefully get that back on track. Also started a fiber supplement to help with bathroom issues, or rather the lack of bathroom issues. And that’s about it. This week has been pretty good. I feel like I’m finally getting the hang of the diet do’s and don’ts though I still have a long way to go. Trying to keep myself from being frustrated if weight loss slows. Trying to continuously remind myself this is just the beginning of forever. That at some point it’ll all kick in and I will lose the weight. It ¬†might take a year or more and that’s ok. If I tell myself that enough times maybe I’ll finally believe it.
